Here is a pic of where my dossier will be soon! This room is filled with dossiers (the stack of papers you must gather in order to adopt). Once they have your dossier in this room they proceed to match you with your baby! They use your little 2 inch X 2 inch passport photo when the find just the right baby for you! I've heard that they really do try to match similar physical characteristics or any other similarities and, of course, a little inspiration as well. Here is my passport photo that will flash up on their computer screens when they match me with my daughter. I made the guy take the picture 3 times and finally settled on this one. I, of course, explained to him that I had to look as cute as humanly possible because this is the picture the officials in China would look at to choose a baby for me! I think he was a little confused, but he wished me luck as I left...hmmm what did he mean by that?!?!
