Summer Fun!

This is my orientation and mobility class! What fun we have had this summer with our long, white canes!!! We are all teachers of the visually impaired in Utah...all working for various school districts in the state. The funniest thing happend...on the first day of class I mentioned to another class mate that I was adopting from China. She seemed a little confused and asked if I had spoken to Nate (another class mate). I told her I hadn't...well come to find out...Nate and her husband are also adopting from China. They are actually using the same agency, social worker, and they are about a month behind me and almost finished paperchasing. It is a really small world! Nate and I have had fun this summer talking adoption!
