I'm tuning in from Kingsburg, CA this lovely evening. I'm spending the next 5 days with my friend Jamie and her family. Jamie (my faithful shopping buddy) and I made a quick stop to K-mart and came out with a treasure...who would have guessed that I would have found something for Eliza? I know...it's really shocking! I want to recommend that all of you adoptive parents out there take a trip to your local K-mart store and purchase the "Playful Patti" doll. She is a cute little Asian doll. You may be wondering if she cost a fortune due to the fact that she the most adorable doll ever made...NOPE! She was purchased for only $8.99...a small price for such a great find! (Wow...I really could have used some lipstick for this photo! I'm looking a little wiped out. Shopping is hard work!)

Oh how cute! She comes with a beach ball? I might just need to run down to K-mart and sneak her into the back of the closet - what California girl could resist a doll with her very own beach ball?!
Okay, this is one of the cutest Asian dolls I have seen yet. I really hate the Big K but I think I'm going to have to break down and go in.

You have a wonderful blog. The nursery looks lovely. I am DTC Aug. 12th and do not have a LID yet. The wait is horrible but so worth it.
