Playing the piano with Jamie's cute daughter Jordyn (luckily she's still young enough to be amused by my lack of piano playing skills!)Why is it that I can't blog lately? I have plenty to blog about, but actually sitting down and posting seems like the hugest chore. Sorry I have to do bullets again to sum up the last month.
- *I have been a bit down about the slowness of the adoption, but I think the cloud is lifting (thank goodness because I was starting to need a vacation from myself, but where ever you go there you are!)
- *I took a vacation (and unfortunately had to take myself along) to see Jamie! This was EXACTLY what I needed. I got to hang out with her family for a day and then the next day we went to the coast. It was so fun to hang out.
- *School has started. It usually takes me a month to resign to the fact that I do indeed have a full-time job and summer vacation can't last forever. I'm still transitioning to this train of thought.
- *I had 2 cars. My sister totalled one. There were no injuries and I felt like high fiving her for doing such a favor for me. The car had a salvaged title to begin with, but the insurance paid out on the car as if it had a clean title. This makes me want to do cartwheels, but I'm nervous about my insurance going up.
- *What else? Man, I must be really boring. I'm doing bullet points and I can only come up with four?
- *There is a really good rumor that came out today. If this rumor is true, I would get my referral this month.
- *I do not believe the rumor mentioned above.
- *I'm not sure I'll believe I'm getting a referral until I have the actual picture in my hands.
- *I'm REALLY hoping I don't have to start redoing my really expensive adoption paperwork which expires on Jan. 7, 2007.
- *How could I forget? I have had dial-up internet up until now. I finally got DSL last night. I feel like I've entered a whole new world. I can actually watch the cute little video clips you all put on your blogs and everything!
- *Beau got to go shopping at the mall today in Eliza's carrier. We got a lot of stares, but he really wanted to go and I felt bad for leaving him home all day. A girls got to do what a girls got to do!

I love the name Jordyn....my Jadyn was almost that. But, I had to go with the meaning of Jadyn 'God has heard' At risk of sounding blasphemous I am wondering how much it would cost to send God a hearing aid ;0)
I saw that rumor too! But It's great to see another single Mama who is so close & might MORE DIRECTLY BENEFIT from the truth of that rumor!!! Will be keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Oh I wish we had photos of Beau in the carrier. Would love to see you walking around the mall with people doing a double take on that one.
