Tentative Travel Dates

I am, of course, now awaiting travel approval (TA). Once I get my TA my agency will set up a consulate appt. These dates are not set in stone. I repeat, these dates are not set in stone (but it is kind of exciting to look at!)

Here is the summary of the trip:
11/14 Depart US
11/16 Arrive Beijing
11/17 Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, HuTong tour
11/18 Great Wall, Temple of Heaven, Acrobatic Show
11/19 Beijing - local province (Changsha City if your baby is from Hunan
province; Huhehoute City if your baby is from Niemenggu province.)
11/20 Baby Day! Receiving your baby/adoption registration/notary/passport
11/21 Baby supply shopping
11/22 Orphanage visit (optional)
11/22 City tour
11/23 rest
11/24 pick up baby's Chinese passport/birth certificate/adoption certificate
11/25 Local province - Guangzhou
11/26 Explore Shamian Island near the White Swan Hotel
11/27 medical exam/paperwork review
11/28 Consulate appointment (not confirmed)
11/29 pick up baby's immigrant visa/ Depart Guangzhou if you are flying China Southern
Airline
11/30 depart from China (other airlines)

Oh I hope those dates get set in stone VERY soon. What a great Thanksgiving...perfect!

Wow, that will be here in no time! We have definitely got to talk about Beijing sometime too -- I'm sooooo excited you will get to see so many neat things, but more importantly sooooo happy you will get to finally meet Eliza and bring her home!
