There is nothing worse than a constipated baby. Why didn't I bring supposotories? I packed everything else known to mankind. If anyone wants to hear the details later let me know...I have been officially inducted into motherhood! Here are some more pics from today!

(PS: fruit will work to, uh, unstop her. We went overboard on the fruit since our kiddos loved it so much and OMG did we have the opposite problem. Try lots of watermelon, juice, etc.)

We did suppositories in China - Ugh is all I have to say. Had I known, I would've brought some mineral oil with us. Putting a tablespoon (or so) in their bottle works wonders without the 'trauma' of using a suppository. (Although I think it was more traumatic for me than Mali hehe) The oil isn't even really a medicine or drug, either - just a lubricant. Not sure if they have it in China, I never knew to look for it. Welcome to motherhood!!
Tiffany, I'm just so happy for you--Eliza is so incredibly beautiful. Re: poop: Yes, welcome to motherhood. Some constipation is normal in the first day or so that you get your baby (lots of adjustments, emotional changes, etc). Talk to your facilitator about getting something to help if it continues beyond a couple of days. She should straighten out soon, though. Smiles! Joy! Elation! Congratulations!
