I am so excited and I just can't hide it...Brian Stuy just sent me this e-mail:
I have located your child's Inner-Mongolian finding ad. It is a photo ad, which includes a nice picture (much earlier than most referral photos), her Chinese name, her age, when found, where found, and a short description of her clothing, appearance, or other information. I can provide a high-quality photograph of her ad, as well as a photograph of the newspaper page it appears on. It will come with a certificate of authenticity.
We are having a difficult time locating other adoptive families from Inner-Mongolia; if you could please let other Inner-Mongolian families know about the availability of these ads, we would really appreciate it!

- I have hoped to be a mother for as long as I can remember. My daughter was placed in my arms on November 12, 2006 in Hohhot, China. Then, a little over 2 years later, right in my own state, my darling baby boy was placed in my arms. Dreams really do come true!!!

We ordered Libby Mei's finding ad from Brian. It is truly amazing to see your baby so young. I honestly think that many of us don't have any ability to picture our children before their referral pictures. I didn't; in fact I almost found the experience of opening the envelope shocking. In Libby's case, it also validated for me that she was in fact born with the skull condition she had surgery for. (I was told this by her doctors, but it was nice to see for myself). The photos are so tiny, and the children look so frightened. Libby was clearly wearing the dress that she was found in---described in her referral. I can hardly look at it without crying for my frightened baby girl, six days old, in a police station in Yiyang, China... Erin
That is so exciting! I also got a copy and also the original newspaper from Brian.
Very exciting Tiffany!! I sent my order in about a month ago and havent heard back from him.....hopefully he will find something. He may have to dig a little deeper since Channing is already 3!!!!

Congratulations of receiving this information. We ordered Liliana's finding ad from Brian before we left for China. I am so happy to have the pictures and translation. This is a priceless treasure that means to world to us. So glad that you are able to get one too. Congrats!!!

That is just great news!!! I will say that it was real strange to think that she has a not always been with you and has a finding ad... I guess she just feels like she has always been with you!!

That's great!! I contacted him back in January and he said to get back to him in April...hoped to have finding adds from IM by then. I just emailed him again...hopefully he can find Ava's.
You'll love having this finding ad! We just got Sarah's a couple of weeks ago, I posted it if you want to see what it looks like! It is really special to have!

Oh very cool! He located Gracie's ad for us and was even able to shed additional light on her finding location... things we would never have known otherwise!
