Morning Routine

Pfffft, who was I kidding that I could actually only blog monthly?

I loved reading Julie's morning schedule so much that I thought I'd post what we do in the morning before work. I am SO fortunate to have my sister babysit at my house right now. Eliza will go to daycare in the Fall, so our routine will change.

Between 6:30 and 7:00- Eliza wakes up
I warm up her bottle that I prepare the night before and bring her in bed with me.
We stay in my bed and snuggle until about 7:30
I then change Eliza's diaper, put Signing Time on for her and I hop in the shower.
I have stopped fixing my hair (isn't the wet, messy look in?), so it takes me about 20 minutes to shower and get dressed.
I then makes Eliza's breakfast and both of our lunches.
At 8:10 I go and get my sister to come upstairs and I give her the rundown of what to feed Eliza, etc.
8:15 I leave for work.

Summer vacation starts in 4 weeks. I can't wait to spend 10 solid weeks at home with my girl. The morning routine in the Fall will be about the same except I will have to feed Eliza breakfast before we leave. Her daycare is in the same building where my office is, so there will not be extra commute time.

Oh you're so lucky. An at home babysitter. Even in the fall to be able to not have to make an extra trip. Wonderful.

Its never easy with a toddler, poor Julie is up at 5am?!!! Good lord! You are blessed, indeed, having your sister staying with you! And I'm sure Eliza is lapping it up, too!

such a fun thing to blog about. my mom just found a journal from when me and carly were really little and she loved to read about her daily routine. At the time she thought she was being too detailed, but now she's glad she was!
