Who's the Boss?

Who knew an almost-18-month-old could be soooooooo opinionated? When Eliza first came home, my mom gave me a bib that says, "I'm the BOSS" on it. Funny. Sigh.

She had to have her lunch with her pillow on her high chair tray with her winter boots on!
Climbing the stairs while wearing her movie star sun glasses at a pool party a few weekends ago.
Eliza LOVES beads! She gathers up all of her necklaces and wears them around the house.

Tiffany,
Alas, the movie star glasses got left behind. I'll leave them in the milk box on the porch after I get home from work today and you can swing by at your convenience. Wouldn't want to deprive Miss Superstar of her shades. I don't know how you can even go out without attracting crowds, the girl has to travel incognito, she's such a phenom!

my understanding is that the bossiness gets worse. Eliza is such the cute superstar. Love the pics.

I'm so excited for Kaiya to wear her own personalized "I'm the Boss" bib, but must admit that I fear how true that is going to be! That picture with the pillow and the boots is about the funniest thing I've ever seen! What a little cutie! I'm soooo glad you brought her (and yourself) (and Heidi) the other night! Soooo good to see you all!

This girl crack me up! She knows what she wants. Today it is pillows and snow boots and tomorrow it is cell phones, cars and boys! She is going to go places. She is so cute. Love the beads. I loved that she wore them at the park. She will be a fashionista someday.

Hey Tiffany,

This is Ashley, I met you at Karli's shower the other night. Just wanted to say I so get this.. We're going through some of the same stuff right now. Ryley has her blankie with her at breakfast every morning... Classic. And every time I wear bracelets.. she's got to wear bracelets... Uh-oh, are we in for it??? :)

Cute cute cute cute! Mali loved her beads too (I never did post those pics, I probably should sometime)! What a joy it was hanging with her and Alison... be cool if all us single mom's could have our own little blog get together (though some of us are only mom's in spirit!)...you know, WAITING. Endlessly waiting!

Of course she is the boss! But what a fun boss to work for. I loved the glasses and the beads. I can relate to the pillow and the boots however, alas! The things we do for our babies!

You definitely have to pick your battles with kids...let her wear the winter boots in the high chair, I say!

I like how she wears the necklaces without clothes. Lets the accessories have center-stage. She is such a beautiful, happy girl. I've been reading your blog forever, and I'm so glad to see her home at last.
