Wow!

Have I mentioned lately how my child blows me away? How about how much I love her? Where do I begin?
A couple stories from today...I was changing the sheets on my bed. Eliza LOVES to play in my bed, so she was "helping" me. When we were done she asked for her bottle, so I went and got it for her. A few minutes later I discovered that the bottle had leaked all over my clean sheets. I said, "Why do I bother?". Eliza promptly repeated, "Why bother?" I have to be extremely careful about what I say these days!
I was watching Extreme Home Make Over tonight. I haven't watched for a while and happened to catch a 2 hour episode. The show always gets me. As my eyes were tearing up, Eliza was trying to carry on a deep conversation with me. She finally stopped, looked at me, and said, "don't cry". I quickly wiped the tears and followed directions. I love the girl!

She's so sweet and smart. We love her too. And if you are in the mood to change more sheets....I have a few beds that need it!

It's such a big change when they become so aware - especially of your emotions. It can be a scary thing!!! I can't believe she's getting that mature, I have her frozen in my mind.

What an observant little girl to notice tears in your eyes! So sweet. Miya loves to parrot everything we say too, really gotta watch myself sometimes.

Boy, she is smart! Wait until she gets into the real parrot phase where she repeats everything you say! Yikes. Sydney dropped something a couple days ago and promptly said "S_ _ t" several times in a row. Yep, you can thank her not-so-careful-with-his-language daddy.
