The Good, the Bad and the Cute!

The last week of daycare has been extra hard. The week before last Eliza walked into daycare and waved goodbye to me as I left. I thought we had rounded the corner. The last 6 days have been rough. Eliza is crying again when I drop her off and she doesn't sleep but a couple of minutes at school. Sometimes I wish I were the parent that could just shrug off the no-napping. Nope, not me. I prefer to obsess. It's one of my stronger qualities. Makes for a pleasant work day. Night time sleep hasn't been much better. We have gone through this before and it usually means she is teething.
On a lighter note, we went on a walk just before bedtime this evening. Beau and Eliza were both looking like they needed to get out of the house. When I asked them if they wanted to go for a walk, Beau started spinning in circles and Eliza yelled, "YEAH!". So, out we went. Doesn't Eliza look sweet all bundled up? She loves to wear her winter gear. The problem is when we come inside she refuses to take any of it off!

Oops - sorry about the daycare downturn. I am dreading the day and it will come for me too.

The photo? Complete cuteness on a stick!

First of all, I cannot believe people are dressing that warm in your neck of the woods. It is still 90 here.

Second, I am so sorry you are having setbacks. Your days must feel like eternities.

And I am 100% with you on the nap obsessions, I'm on my third child and still have not let that go.

Oh my heavens she looks ADORABLE in her little hat and coat!

So sorry on the naptime troubles, eesh. I'm an obsesser too, so I feel for you.

Eliza looks cuter than cute in her winter gear. Little sweetheart. We have the opposite problem that you do, by the way. Our girls like to strip off their winter gear and run around outside yelling "nake beebee nake beebee!" (naked baby). Sigh...

Cute hat! Sorry about the nap thing.... maybe people need to stop pulling the fire alarm at the school... It just might help the napping!

Bummer bout the insecurities at daycare. My girl never slept at daycare either! (but I'm one of those Mum's who says, what will be - will be!!!!) She did sleep well at night though. Hope the Eliza gets back into a good sleep pattern soon! If Mummy and baby aren't gettin any sleep... it doesn't make for an especially happy household!

Yes! Your baby girl does look extra cute in her winter woolies!

Love that smile. Glenys isn't sleeping either. It is a good thing she is so cute or we would be in much bigger trouble.

I was hoping that once Maisie and I were gone things would settle back down...sorry that she's still having nap problems. Love the winter outfit and hat all so adorable.

That hat is soooo cute!! Sorry about daycare. Hopefully Eliza will soon have all her teeth and she can stop teething!! Emily refuses to sleep for anyone but me. She even screams when her daddy tries to put her to sleep. She gets cranky and tired after a long day at the babysitter's house, but she will not take a nap for her...what willpower! Hope Eliza and you are back to feeling well soon. See you soon!

Oh yes- Eliza looks just adorable too! :) What a cute smile! I hope the sleep issues pass sooner than later. They will pass.

Too bad about the 'no napping.' Hopefully she'll settle soon back into dropoff time and sleep.

I still think you have the cutest little girl! She is just as cute through each phase she grows throw. It is amazing what sleep can do for anyone, esp. kids!! It's sick that it is Oct. and we are dressing SO warm!! It is a shock to my California system!

I don't think she could be any cuter! Sydney has ups and downs at daycare also -- for her, a lot depends on the teacher.

Anna is no better with nursery lately and I can't really leave her with anyone but my sister. At least they are attached to us!
