Shoes and Molars

Everybody watch out...the 2-year molars are causing havoc around here. My sweet girl is miserable. Some kids aren't really phased by teething and my baby isn't one of them. We both feel each tooth coming in! I was sure she was really, really sick yesterday, so off to the doctor we went. The diagnosis was teething. Sheesh! That's the second time I've done that. She has been exposed to strep throat this past week, so I wanted to make sure it wasn't that. Poor girl. Poor mommy.
Eliza has been really, really into shoes lately. She insists on wearing my clogs. They frustrate her to no end, but she tries to walk around the house with them. It is so funny and cute!

It's funny how they are fascinated with everyone elses shoes...Ava started wearing mine around the hotel room while in China and still loves to wear them now.
Eliza's hair is getting so long! Are you planning on growing her bangs out ? We are trying to grow ours out...but Ava doesn't like to keep the hair toys in for very long! Might end up having to cut her bangs if she doesn't start cooperating as her bangs hang down to her nose now.
You and Eliza are getting close to your one year anniversary as a forever family!!!!

Sorry the teething yuckies have hit you. Hopefully they'll pop through quickly and your sweetie will be back to her old self.

Eliza is growing up so fast! I cannot believe how fast her hair has grown. She's becoming a little girl and not a toddler and before we all know it, she'll be a young lady.

Sorry to hear about the teething. With strep though you can't be too careful, glad to know it was just teething.

She is adorable.

I loved the hair! Em wears hers the same way...I always dreamed of being able to put my daughter's hair in puffy pigtails....at least until she can say enough to protest. Hope the teething bout is finished for Eliza. Life can be fun...dull never with these girls!

Anna drolls about a gallon a day with her teething. Maybe that is why she is so whinny!

Jack is the same way with teething, he is a bear. It never seemed to phase Amelia though. Luckily neither of my kids are big droolers, although Jack has his moments. Glad Eliza wasn't sick!

p.s., I had the babysitter take Amelia into the doctor a couple of weeks ago because I was SURE she had a UTI, turns out she just likes to pee since she is potty training now:)

I feel for you on the teething issue. None of my kids have been blessed with easy sailing in the teeth business. Ash just cut his 2 bottom teeth, at the same time had a cold and a few days later the flu. Needless to say our house hasn't been the funnest of places lately.
Eliza is getting soo dang big and continues to be her cute little self, with quite the personality. You can just see it in her eyes!
