2 year update

- Eliza is full of questions. She asked me what time it was the other day.
- She is also full of compliments. She is constantly telling me "good job" and "I love it" over various things.
- She is 100% potty trained at during the day and at night.
- She is demanding. We have entered the age of two...without a doubt!
- She will not look at or smile for the camera (at least not both at the same time). Stinker!
- Toy Story 2 is the best show ever created and she can recite the words. She repeats when Bo Peep says, "Honey are you okay?" to Woody.
- She wants to brush her teeth all the time, but ONLY with the purple toothbrush!
- She loves to know people's names. She is constantly asking people, "Whatcha name?".
- She continues to love Beau. She asked about him close to 3000 times while we were in California.
- Whenever I leave and come back she exclaims, "Mommy come back!". Sometimes she feels anxious when I leave, so we repeat, "Mommy always comes back". I love that she understands that concept.
- We are constantly talking about what a mommy job and a Lala job is. For example, emptying the potty chair is a mommy job. Flushing the toilet is a Lala job. She would prefer if mommy didn't have a job...ah, the independence.
- We were having power struggles over food for a while. She always won, so I decided she would eat when she was hungry. Amazing how that works...a two year old can only have a power struggle if her mommy is willing to participate!
- I love my fiercely independent, caring, smart, sweet, sassy two year old!

Congratulations on the two year mark! Eliza is a very bright, cute and lucky little girl!
Happy Birthday to a beautiful and smart little girl...Congrats to a smart Mom who gets power struggles..They always seem to have enough to eat. Save the struggles for the teen years!!! Linda
What a great mom you are! What fun is it being a toddler if you can't engage mommy in a few power struggles?! LOL! On the 2 thing, all I can say is the 2's were a walk in the park compared to the 3's!
Oh but how I would LOVE the challenge of trying to capture her smile in still life. What I'd give to photograph her! (Children are by far my most favorite!)...
What a delightful little girl you have!
I love that picture....and I love watching her grow up. Thanks for sharing with us!
TWO! How wonderfult! Congrats and we love Eliza too. She is so smart and darling. She is a perfect package.
Two already! Eliza is doing so well! What fun to hear of the progress she's made even this past month.
Happy Birthday. They grow up so fast.

Ok, after talking to you yesterday I refused to do diapers today and Anna has done great. She woke up from her nap dry and has gone a few times in the potty. Hopefully we are there as well. My boys all loved Toy Story but I haven't got it out in years! Anna has things she always says like Eliza and her asking names, but her's is "What time is it?". Like a two year old really needs to know what time it is!
