Decorating Cookies

We went to my sister's house tonight for dinner and cookie decorating. It was a nice evening. Tabby's house is a full-service type of place. She fed us, cleaned up, gave Eliza a bath and put her p.j.s on...all while I held the couch down. Then, while I was holding down the couch some more, Brad snuggled Eliza and gave her a bottle. It was a nice break!

Eliza enjoyed cutting her cookie, but didn't really eat it. She's more of a chocolate kind of girl! The group

What a fun time, I know exactly how good it feels to be waited on when you are always the one taking care of everything, I know you enjoyed it.

Isn't it great when other people take over so you can relax for a bit?! Rare and wonderful in single-motherhood :)

Eliza looks like a pro with her cookie. Ah, thank heavens for relatives who love and adore our children. Sometimes it keep me sane!

Holding the couch down can be hard work! I'm with Eliza, chocolate is my downfall.
