Eliza and Charlee at Lisa's house

It was a fun weekend. On Sat. Yvette and Charlee came over and we walked along the river trail by my house. We then went to McDonald's where some kid pulled Eliza's braid and it was easily 100 degrees in the playland area. I could stand it for about 5 minutes and we made a quick exit to my house for grilled cheese, gogurts and blueberries. Much better! The little girls played in the sand box and fought over the bikes. It was a very nice morning. After nap time we went to Lisa's house for our monthly single moms get together. The kids all had a great time together and it was nice to visit with the moms as well. Why does the weekend always go by so fast? I'm ready for another one and this one isn't even over yet!

What fun! I can relate to the speeding weekends now. I can only imagine how it will fly when J is home.

Cute little girls! I hate those playrooms when they get hot too. Your house sounded much more fun...and gogurts, nothin' better. Glad you had a great weekend. I am just like you...I always count down to a weekend.

Sounds like a fun weekend, especially the river walk and the get-together. Good luck with the control issues. Em has started full steam into that phase as well. She usually falls down on the floor and tantrums, screaming to get whatever it is. I generally ignore her and she stops after a few minutes (usually!) It is a good thing they are so dang cute and we love them more than life:)

I'd love to have a single mom group 'round here . . . sounds like fun.

Last time we took the kids to the play area (chic-fi*let), a little girl bit my nephew's back. Twice.

Love E's expression in that pic!

I am just ready for the kids to be back in school. We just had spring break and all of the friends were gone. Just imagine 5 kids with no friends and cold weather. I was about to pull my hair out! Luckily Saturday the weather was nice and the friends came home.
