It's been a semi-stressful week. A little bit of two year old mixed with a little bit of PMS and a leaking water main almost did me in. I could have thought of better ways to spend $2300 besides replacing the water line from the meter to the inside of my house, but what are you gonna do? I now have a nice, fancy copper pipe running into my house. I have had to go downstairs, stare at that shiny pipe and pretend that it was a fun purchase a couple of times. I'm still trying to convince myself!
The bright spot of my week came in the mail today. What a surprise! Amy and Ruby (their blog is PW protected) sent me a copy of my blog turned into a book. It was so beautiful I almost cried. This talented entrepreneur has started a business creating these books. I put the link to her online shop called Book My Blog in my sidebar. Such a fun keepsake for me and Eliza! Thanks Amy!!!

(who did NOT say "NO!" this time! hehe)
'Ewww' to the pricey pipe.
'Ahhh' to the blog book...very nice!
That is a fantastic book. Wow! I think you should pretend that the book and pipe were $2,300. Because that book is priceless and maybe that will help with the sticker shock. I am there with you sister on being stunned at the price. Holy cow! Your water better be the best water in town.
What a beautiful keepsake that book is!! Sorry about the waterpipe, ugg....

I wanted to chime in about the incredible book. What a priceless gift. I will definately check out your friends website. I check your blog frequently...your Eliza is so adorable. I have enjoyed watching her change and grow so much. Sorry about the pipes =(

That stinks about the pipe, it's crazy how expensive plumbing things are.
I love the book, I am putting that on my wish list. I really like how you can take it with you and show people that might not be computer savvy and read your blog :)
Oh, the joys of home ownership...definitely not one of those things it's fun to spend money on!
Love the book blog...what a great idea!
How awesome to have such great friends to do this for you! Very nice looking.
I have been reading your blog for quite some time after researching adoption blogs. This is the best link ever, what an incredible memory that you will have for Eliza to share. I am going to contact your friends to do this for me. This is priceless and will save me so much time from doing this myself. Thanks for sharing all of your blessings. You have such a precious family.
