A Beautiful Day

It's been true spring weather around here...95 one day and 50 the next. Today it's around 80...perfect. I made pancakes this morning. I've been making that our Saturday tradition. I make a bunch and then freeze them so we can pop them in the toaster and eat them during the week. After breakfast I turned on a movie for Eliza and she pushed the stool up to the front door and watched me mow the lawn during her movie. This is a huge improvement. Not sure if I've ever mentioned, but from about 12 months on, Eliza has been petrified of the blow dryer, vacuum, blender, lawn mower (you get the picture). She's made some great progress the past month or so. It makes my life feel much easier. Anyhow, I moved on to the back yard and she sat in the rocking chair and watched. When I finished we played in the sprinkler, jumped on the trampoline, etc. ...all before noon! During her nap I'm going to finish planting the garden. I love Saturdays!!!

I love my yard this time of year! The "farm" is hard work, but it's worth it.
My beautiful girl
Doesn't everyone need an umbrella to run through the sprinklers (in the buff)?

The bottom picture, I guess that's a pun, too, is my favorite. It's a perfect advertisement for summer.

Your house is cute too, it is the bricked version of my house but I don't have that great backyard.

Tiffany... how on earth have you found the time and energy to keep your yard looking so lush and beautiful? Wow! Eliza is living the good life, that is for sure!

Man- the farm is looking good! I have to say- this time of year- before the big watering occurs- I do like my farm better.

Great idea with the umbrella - to keep the buns dry!

Glad the loud noises are getting easier. It's 4:35 AM in Oslo (can't sleep) & people are still out partying....it's kind of like New Orleans...didn't expect that. Lots of drinking and stumbling in the street. It's beautiful here though and I'll take a boat cruise this AM.

Talk to you when I get back!

Your backyard is beautiful! And even more so with that little butt running around! If there's any spot of water in our backyard, both my girls immediately get naked!
