I had to take Eliza to the pediatric dermatologist today to get an ointment for her eczema. While we were there they weighed and measured her. Weight: 26.5 lbs. Height: 35 inches She's gained a pound and an inch in about 4 months. Lately she's been complaining that her knees hurt. She was actually sobbing tonight for a few minutes. I'm wondering if it's growing pains or if she has just hurt them from tripping and falling? Poor kid. I gave her some motrin and massaged her legs before bed. By the way, why do I bother googling medical issues? Every time I do, I'm sure someone has a tumor or worse. Note to self...STOP!
She was really good for the doctor today. I didn't mention that we were seeing the doctor, but rather a lady that wanted to look at her eczema. She loves to talk about her eczema to anyone who will listen. It worked. There were no tears and the minute the dermatologist walked in, Eliza proudly displayed the patch on her arm. I need to knock on wood, but like I said before, we are in a really nice phase right now! I'm loving 2-and-a-half.

Goodness, have we been through it with the eczema, too! And the Tongginator gets growing pains, too. We always use Motrin and a little leg massage before bedtime as well.

Yes, consulting "Dr. Google" usually ends up making me freak out even more than I was before!
