Darned Blankets!
My friend gave Eliza a dollhouse that her children had outgrown. I brought it in from the car today, right before nap time. Eliza wanted to sleep with the rather large dollhouse. I told her the dollhouse could stay by the side of her bed and when she was done sleeping, she could play with it. Good enough. I tucked her in and left the room. Much to my un-surprise, I heard her in there playing with the dollhouse. I went in and asked her what was going on. The dollhouse was open, in full play mode. She looked at me and in a very annoyed voice said, "My blankets keep falling out of bed"! What's a girl to do? When your blankets fall out of bed, aren't you sort of obligated to play with a new, fun dollhouse?

Heh! She's a smart one Charlie Brown!!
Well...d'uh! Liliana does the same thing all the time. Cute story! Miss you guys.
She kills me...she is hilarious!
Watch out for her. If Eliza comes up with creative excuses this early what will happen when she is 16?
She's something :)
Smart cookie! :)
what a funny girl. Just so you know, their excuses only get more creative :)
Hey- since when can't play houses be blankets? They add warmth -right?
"Much to my un-surprise"--- that's funny!!!
She knows how to work it. What a girl!!
LOL, she is one smart girl!
This kid, always thinking. She is such a hoot. We're still looking for the house's inhabitants and their personal possessions. I have confidence that a whole family of little Fisher Price people cannot go missing in our toy room. Unless they've been sent into the Little People witness protection program, and since I've stopped supervising play in that room, who knows what kind of horrible kid crime those poor little Fisher Price people may have seen.
Love your girl and thanks for the cookies, double yum.

you just can't argue with that logic!
I hate it when that happens :)
That was great. Comments like those are ones that have to be written down.
