Adoption Time line for Solomon:
November 6, 2008 - Decided to go for it and leisurely started gathering paperwork hoping to have a baby in the spring.
December 2008 - Decided to really go for it. Dropped my profile off at agency and told them I would be ready for my baby tomorrow if need be.
December 8, 2008 - Contacted by agency to have my profile shown to a birth mother (baby boy was born that morning). Birth mother chose another family.
December 9, 2008 - Home study completed and all paperwork in to agency. I'm surprised at how fast it was to compile the paperwork (compared to an international adoption).
December 31, 2008 - Contacted by agency to have my profile shown to a birth mother (baby boy due to be induced on Jan. 7th).
January 2, 2009 - I was chosen by a birth mother! I'm going to be a mommy to two children!

Wow! You moved through your paperchase fast! Congratulations!
Thanks Julie! I was lucky that I didn't really have to wait all that long for my I171H. Now, if only the wait would zoom right by!
