Okay, this is not gospel, but I will pass it on....My agency said that they are anticipating May LID referrals in January. They made sure they stated that there is really no way of knowing for sure, but I'll take it!!! So...I'll make some of my own predictions.
January- May LID referrals
February - June LID referrals (I know I should figure in Chinese New Year, but I 'm not going to..CNY is at the end of January this year. In the past the CCAA has done 2 batches of referrals before CNY, so I am predicting that they will do one bactch before CNY and one batch after.)
March - July LID
April - AUGUST LID (That's me!!!!!!)
That puts me traveling at the end of May which would be perfect. I'm hoping that I either get an April referral or a June referral...A May referral would put me in China right in the middle of a class that I'm supposed to take. I of course would not hesitate to choose Eliza over my class, but if I had it my way I would travel either before or after July.

Yes! It's being talked about on the DTC boards, too, because they are thinking that the CCAA will double up because of the CNY. Hope this comes true!

I like the way you think! Let's hope the CCAA is thinking the same way, because that would put me in March!!!!!! Oh wouldn't that be heavenly? Ahhhhhh, I think I'll go eat a cookie and contemplate it right now. :-)

I agree! this is exactly what i'm thinking/hoping! woohoo! lets keep the fingers crossed. its funny, when i started this process i would have been dissapointed to think referral in may........now i'm like......
