Grassland Tour

Okay...poop issues resolved! Chinese herbs and a warm water enema did the trick! Phew!
Today we went and saw the grasslands. It was not very grassy, but very nice to see. It looked a lot like central Utah. We almost lost our lives driving there and back. Not really, but driving here is a little like playing chicken or frogger. It's a little crazy. By the time we got back from our hour long drive everyone was green from car sickness. As part of our tour of the grasslands we stopped at a local family's house. They fed us and oohed and ahead over the babies, but especially the Jensen's baby. This was really fun to see. The host (who was very grandmotherly) said that the Jensen's baby looks 100% Mongolian. Anna Mei really did resemble this family. The host said that Eliza looks a little bit Mongolian. Go to the Jensen's blog and see their sweet baby!
Eliza and I took a bath today. She LOVES the bath. She was kicking and splashing for about 1/2 hour. We have had plenty of time in the hotel the past couple of days. We are wishing we would have brought cards or something. It's been a bit windy and takes so much effort to bundle the babies that we usually go out for a long walk only once a day. The weather was absolutely beautiful today. I have decided that November is the best time of the year to be in China. It gets a little cold sometimes, but it's the perfect temperature for carrying a baby around.
Speaking of temperatures...Eliza is a little oven just like me. She is hot, hot, hot all the time. She doesn't have a fever, she is just warm blooded. Her little head just drips with sweat when she drinks her bottle. This baby is the sweetest baby I have ever met. For all of you waiting, it is worth it!!! I would have waited the rest of my life for this specific baby. She is perfect! I literally feel like I am going to explode with love every time I look at her. Morning time is so fun. She wakes up, I give her a bottle in bed with me and then she takes a little cat nap with me. She is so happy! She is a wild one! She loves when you "get" her. She squeals with laughter when we tickle her...or even just talk to her. There is something very special about this baby. I can't wait for everyone to meet her.

***The white outfit with pink flowers is made by baby Nay and I got it from Nordstrom.
***The purple outfit with the hat is from the Naartjie store.

Tiffany.. she really does get more and more beautiful each day!Motherhood suits you. Thanks for reminding us that there is an end to this craziness... and that the craziness won't matter once we hold our sweet babies.

Tiffany,

Your whole experience is bringing back my memories of my trip to bring Ellie home that I want to run out of my office and into her classroom and hug her like she's 16 lbs., has sweatyhead and is belly-laughing so hard you think she's going to stop breathing. Oh darn, why didn't I insist on making you a patented laminated intro card that helps SO much when you draw crowds. Next time I'll get you one to take with you for sure because how could there not be a next time, that kid NEEDS a sister.
