In Eliza's care package I sent 2 cameras. The orphanage staff was kind enough to take pics on both cameras. I stood in Wal-Mart and got teary as I looked at the pics. I was told that when my agency called to get updated info. on Eliza the orphanage staff made it clear that her nanny really loved her. As I look at these pics I can see the love in this nanny's eyes. I can see that Eliza loved her. I can't express how much this means to me. I know an orphanage is not ideal, but I believe that the Chifeng orphanage did the very best they could for my daughter. She is the most delightful, happy, perfect, lovable baby and I will be forever grateful to them for caring for her until I could get there.

This is a priceless and wonderful photo!! Look at the smile on Eliza's face and the way her caretaker is holding her and looking at her. You can certainly tell that she was loved and taken care of. This is a great gift for an adoptive momma to have.

Thank you so much for posting such a beautiful pic. What 'memories' to cherish!!!
Happy to hear you are doing so well.
I just love following your blog, Tiffany. Eliza is a perfect match for you!
Tiffany, your blog is fabulous! I love the movie clips, pics and your messages. I feel the same way about Chloe as you do about Eliza. It is not possible for me to love her more. I am eternally grateful to the nannies who loved her and cared for her until I could get there. People of China all commented on "what a lucky girl she is to be going to America." On the contrary, What a lucky mom I am to have been blessed with such a girl. Thank you China!!
By the way, Chloe did the same thing that Eliza is doing. I would go into her room and she would be awake sucking her lip and curling her hair - poor thing. She looked so bewildered. I checked on her more often and once or twice I went into her room just before I thought she would wake up. So when she woke up I was in the room. I think it made a difference for Chloe; I know I felt better. OK - enough for now.
