I finally took Eliza in for her 'welcome to the USA blood work' last week. I was dreading having her poked by a needle. I was imagining them having to draw a vile of blood for every test they did. Luckily 2 of my friends who happen to be nurses advised me to go to the children's hospital to have the lab work done. They assured me the most painful part of the event would be finding parking. I found a great parking spot and the blood draw wasn't bad either. It took a total of 2 minutes. To top it off everything with Eliza checked out just fine. This is a pic of my cute girl right before we went to the hospital. Poor kid didn't know what she was in for (or, by the look on her face, maybe she did?)!
Can you see the other three teeth that have just come through? Teething can be hard on a girl!
New Hat!

I'm glad everything went well. She's just darling, Tiffany!
Love it! Look at all those pearly-whites :0)
It is so lovely to see Eliza growing up before my very eyes!! What a sweetheart!
Oh my gosh! Could she be cuter? I think you have the cutest baby on the planet!

So glad that you talked to Y and M!!! I will remember that you are doing everything before me and I will look to you for guidence next year!!! Oh how I craved Eliza today.... I needed a quick fix. I guess I'll just gaze at her cute little mug and dream of Tate.

I think getting the blood drawn is usually more traumatic for the moms than the babes. Glad it went so well!
I remember taking Sarah over to Primary Children's for her "welcome home" bloodwork and it didn't go as well as Eliza's did! MAN! She just screamed the whole time and I had to be the one holding her down (with the help of another person) all while the 3rd person tried to actually draw the blood. NOT FUN!!! I had tears just having to hold her down for all that pain! Then, afterwards, he told me that he didn't think he took enough for one of the tests, I told him he had better have enough cause we're DONE HERE! Fortunately he didn't need more because I was seriously thinking we'd go without the test before I put her through that again! Glad that your experience was better than ours!
What a big smile for teething! She is such a cutie, and I love the hats.
So cute. I love how teeth change their look. She's working hard on that!!
She is just the cutest little bug. Makes it so hard to wait for our Abby. Sherry Mc (Jennifer - Jenny's mom)
Glad the blood work went fine and came back clear. Have you done the, umm, fecal samples yet? That was more painful (for me) than the blood work. But then I have a weak stomach...
what a lovely outfit.
glad to hear that the blood tests weren't too bad...
