Vacation Part 2

After we went to SC we went to N.J. to see family. At first I debated not stopping in N.J. simply because I knew I would be worn out after being at the beach for a week. Since I was flying on a buddy pass (thanks to my friend for the pass and for convincing me to visit my family) and it cost no more to extend my layover, I decide it would be silly to pass it up. Besides, Eliza had never met my grandma, aunts, uncles and cousins. I can't tell you how good it was to see everyone. Eliza felt so at home and ate up all of the attention. I could tell she knew she was with family. Instead of feeling worn out for this portion of the trip, I felt re-energized. We don't see everyone nearly enough. I vowed to myself that I would get out there more.

Happy Belated birthday! Was it the 28th? Sorry I missed it. It is great to reconnect with family. The older we get, the more important it becomes:)
