Poop Talk

I was just saying last night, I couldn't remember the last time Eliza had a potty accident. So, naturally, today was the day! Eliza's poop didn't quite make it to the toilet today at school. Her teacher told me it was quite the challenge to clean up because Eliza managed to step in it. Poor Destiny, she deserves an award. Sometimes my busy girl doesn't take the time to relax and relieve herself at school, so there is an occasional accident of the worst kind. On the way home from school I told Eliza to make sure she tries to poop before nap time. Anyhow, Eliza asked why (of course). I told her Destiny doesn't love cleaning up poop and it probably makes her feel kind of sick and sad, so she needs to make sure her poop makes it into the potty, not in her undies or on the floor. In the most happy, upbeat voice, Eliza told me, "It's okay, Nani (what the kids call Destiny) can clean up poop. It doesn't make her sad"! I'm sure Destiny would disagree!

That is too funny that she doesn't think Destiny is grossed out by this:)

I have NO experience with this, but a friend of mine was telling me at her daycare if the kids have an accident they have to clean it up themselves. Maybe cleaning up her own poop (with help/supervision of course) would help her remember to take the time to go to the potty?

Or maybe she is right and Destiny doesn't mind it at all:)

Nothing like poop on the foot. Can we come on Saturday? I wanted my hubby to help and that is his only day.

I don't like poop either! That goes in the toilet! - Although with a 16 lb Tabby cat.....it involves poop & wiping cat butts....I'd rather have it be a child's to be honest.
