Mom, Teacher, Maid, Chef and now Plumber (amongst other things I'm sure)
My sink has been draining very, very slowly for the past few days. I ran my dishwasher tonight and knew right away there was big trouble. I took apart the pipes under the sink, hoping it there was just food or something caught in the p-trap...not so. The pipes were clear, meaning clog was further into the main plumbing. I remembered that I had a contraption in my shed from when I had hired a plumber when I first moved into this house. I took apart the pipes under the sink all the way to the pipe going into the wall and then ran the hose from the back yard into the house. At this point I knew I needed a little help, so I called trusty friend and neighbor, Heidi, to come turn the water to the hose on while I made sure a major flood didn't occur in the house. It took a couple of tries, but the sink is unclogged and I'm not out the $100+ it would have cost to hire a plumber. I was proud to add the title of plumber to my resume tonight.
