I was feeling VERY grumpy today, so to cure myself I went to lunch with a co-worker and ordered a large bowl of greasy, yummy pasta. Do you think my lunch was Weight Watchers friendly? Yeah, me neither, but it was good and I'm cured...the grumpiness is gone!

I pigged out at the Volunteer Luncheon today! I think it's cereal for dinner tonight...
Ahhhh, comfort food. There's nothing better! As I type this a bag of Chip A-hoy cookies (already opened) is sitting next to me. Mmmmmmm.
Maybe it was the co-worker's company and not the past mmmm....
Actually, Laurie, I think you are right!!! Where are we going for lunch today?

Hi,
I just wanted to say that I like your blog and I'm excited for you to get Eliza after this long wait. I'm hoping to adopt from China as a single woman also. Right now I'm too young (and not ready for that matter), but in the meantime I love reading blogs to learn more about the process. I was also moved by the Lost Girls of China documentary (similar, I believe, to the Oprah segment you mentioned). I had thought for a while about adopting from Guatemala or another Latin-American country, but after seeing that movie, I have decided on China. Best of luck in the future with your daughter and thank you for documenting your experiences here on the web!
That looks so good... I'm a sucker for that Weight Watcher Pasta... HaHa.... Let's do lunch ar Trio.... As soon as I get my days freed up....
