Apricots

These apricots went from the tree in my back yard into jars today. I've made jam in years past, but never plain old apricots. It was very easy! I'll be doing this every year from now on!

Step 1: Pick Apricots, wash and cut in half.

Step 2: Wash jars and lids.

Step 3: Bring apricots and light syrup to a boil. Boil water for sealing jars in a separate pot.

Step 4: Put apricots and syrup in jars, put lids on, and place in boiling water bath for 30 minutes.

I'm impressed. I'd blow the joint up. I am no kitchen guru. In her adult years, Jadyn will probably say...'it was edible' and kindly leave it at that ;0)
