This is a really wonderful picture. I look forward to reading more about your adventures together.

Eliza is beautiful. This will be difficult for you to see your child grieving and to know that you can't make her immediately be happy. BUT and it is a big but, when things have settled and you two start the dance that is bonding/attachment, you will look back on these days with a mixture of happiness and sadness and you will see your little girl with GREAT THANKSGIVING.

Things will get better and you two will be a wonderful family. You will not remember a day you didn't have Eliza in your life!!

Its heartbreaking when they grieve for their old lives. Watch the other children around you when you get a moment. They all go through their own process and blossom in the short time they're with their new families in China.
Heh your camera doesnt realize it crossed the international date line.

Tiffany, Congratulations! Eliza is beautiful. Sadness is a good sign of attachment. Rejoice in her sadness and know that she is showing signs of good health.

Tiffe,
Love the picture, it is the perfect picture to post!!! Congratulations!

However... Heidi, Katie and I are frantically sitting her in your living room waiting for more pictures of beautiful Eliza. So we clicked on the Jensen's webpage... and you are definitely not keeping up with the Jensens!!!! Please post more pictures!

It is so cool that you got to pick up Eliza a day early (info from the Jensen's blog)and by the way the Jensen's have posted at least 5 pictures of their baby... Get on it!

We Love you! Congratulations again, can't wait to see the two of you on Thanksgiving!!!

Love,

Tricy, Schmauchers and K.T.

Oh she is sooo sweet! Hang in there. The first 24 hours are the hardest.... and from what I have heard and experienced, 72 hours later (at the latest) they are all smiles. You just keep loving on her. She'll get it. : )

Soooo happy for you!!
