- I have hoped to be a mother for as long as I can remember. My daughter was placed in my arms on November 12, 2006 in Hohhot, China. Then, a little over 2 years later, right in my own state, my darling baby boy was placed in my arms. Dreams really do come true!!!

Holy Eliza! What a difference a year makes! And can I say again, I love, love, love that photo of you holding her (wearing a yellow outfit) up to your head - from last year. That is my absolute fave!

Happy One Year Mark. Eliza has grown up so much in the year. The difference between Gottcha day pictures and now pictures is hard to believe! She is cute either way though. I can't believe Eliza was smiling on Nov 12 2006. Emily looked like she was in shell shock the first day!
Happy Gotcha Day! I can't wait to see you two on Saturday!!! It's been an amazing year and thankfully- I have been able to see Eliza in person - almost each month to watch her amazing growth. What I love about watching you two is how much you radiate "I love being a mom" - can't wait to feel that.

Oh I remember crying when you posted those pictures of you and Eliza! It's amazing how life has changed, huh? What a blessing your sweet girl is and what a blessing you are to her!
Aren't the changes amazing? Not just the changes in Eliza, but the changes to your everday life?

Congratulations!!! I followed your journey to China and can't believe that a year has already past. Little Eliza has grown and changed a lot! Tomorrow is an anniversary for me too...one year DTC. I still have a long wait ahead until I meet my little one. Best wishes!
