Cherries
I'm drowning in a sea of cherries. What do I do with so many cherries? Ideas? The apricots, apples, sour plums and grapes are equally abundant this year. We had a nice, wet winter! This pic is what I was able to pick from a couple of branches on one of my trees. On the agenda this week: pick more cherries! I'm planning on making cherry fruit leather, dried cherries, cherry freezer jam, and I guess I'll freeze some. I'm sure there will be cherry cobbler or something similar as well!

YUMMY!!!!
LOVE cherries...
Can't wait to see what all you make..
Have a Great Sunday..
Oh man those look good -- and the thought of all those delicious cherry creations (especially the cobbler)... Ok, I think I'm going to have to make a trip to the store for cherries right now. (Seriously)
I am so jealous you have fruit trees!! That is so cool!
YUM! Shame I'm not near-by. I could shorten that cherry supply in no time :0)
You are so lucky to have all that fruit in your backyard! Makes me want to go to Home Depot and start buying trees! :)
Yum...those looks delish!
I am so jealous! I haven't even looked at my cherry tree this year. I figured since the one that pollinates it died last year...I wouldn't get anything. Enjoy them!!
I slaved all afternoon lugging Lexy's stuff all over town hoping to find a delicious cherry cobbler with a scoop of vanilla ice cream waiting for me when I got there, just as Lexy promised....and you were NOWHERE to be found!!!!
You... mean, cruel, dishonest woman...and now you taunt me with pictures of cherries and suggestions of what you are going to do with them.
Well, I'll tell you what you can do with them TIFF....
...call me when the cobbler is done.
thanks so much.
Brad
Great trees and garden! Wish I could come and pick your cherries for you. I'm trying to clear some land in our front yard to grow a nice veggie garden. All I have right now is a zucchini, 3 tomato plants and thyme and rosemary. Good job on your hard work!
I wish we lived closer so I could come raid your yard!
