I got a new camera (HATED my other one to the point that I rarely took pics). My baby girl is sleeping, so I went outside to try the new toy out...plus it's fun to look at the yard through the years.
Daisies are blooming

Lilies are my favorite flower, orange specifically

Cabbage (boy do I need to get out there and weed!)

Hollyhocks...I love these and I didn't even plant them. They must have come from another yard.

This is the first year I have been able to get peppers. Hello, little jalapeno!

I'm going to have grapes coming out of my ears this fall!

These are the best apricots in the whole world. Not sure what variety they are, but I can't wait to eat them!

Pumpkin Patch

I planted 2 zucchini plants almost under my apple tree. They love it there. I have huge plants and I'll have enough zucchini to supply the neighborhood.

The first tomato! I planted 18 tomato plants this year. Come on over for homemade salsa!

The cherries that wish I would get off the computer and pick them!

More cherries...not quite ready yet!

I'm in LOVE with the new camera. It's a Nikon D40. I got it from
here.

YPPEE for the new camera!!1 You did not mention thbat you finally got it!? I havew got to give it a try to see if I should be getting one with my Bush Bribe money.
Too cool!! I just ordered that exact same camera about 6 hours ago!! Can't wait to play with it. Am having it shipped to Mary-Mia's so that I can learn how to use it from the master.
How do you like it so far? Beautiful pics!! So bright and clear. Those berries/cherries look like they can be eaten right through the pic.
How fun it will be to capture pics of Eliza without having to capture just one moment you can click away and grab the best ones.
Have fun friend! Looking forward to learning and sharing tip and tricks from/with you!
Great pictures...
Enjoy your new camera...
Have a Great Week...
Nice pictures. I still need a new camera:) I love summer and I love being outdoors when things are blooming and in fruit. It was really fun to see you yesterday. Em is still talking about Liza:)
Beautiful colors of yumminess! You have so many talents, Tiffany!
This tribute to the garden is lookin' vaguely familiar. All I'm sayin' is that with gas prices at $4.50 here in Hawaii, it'll be nice too save some money and just live off the land when we come to visit. Looks like fried Zucchini, Jalapeno poppers, boiled cabbage and cherry pie with hollyhocks will be on the menu. Mmmmm, good. Can't wait!! Only 3 weeks.... but whose counting. By the way, nice camera. I admit, I'm a little shade of garden green with envy. ;)
P.S. - I found a pretty cool photography site that's taught me a lot about taking photo's. Everything from the basics to advanced stuff. Great tips and resources, check it out. http://digital-photography-school.com/blog/
Aww! Beautiful growing things. I so envy that ability. If any plant of mine lives, it is an accident ;0)
you are like my dad, two green thumbs.
if I had HALF of ONE of your green thumbs I'd be in great shape!
I love these pictures!
