Art Work
My mother says I'm just like my Grandma Elaine, I throw everything away! I am definitely not a collector. I get a bag of cute school creations every week, and I would have boxes of just preschool stuff if I saved it all! Don't get me wrong, I LOVE seeing the cute stuff she does at school, I just can't wrap my mind around saving it all! In an attempt to "preserve" some of Eliza's school work, I'm going to post occasional pictures of it.

OY, I can relate. We get stuff every day now and it's killing me. I am thinking of scanning some of it so it's preserved. At this rate, I'll need another room. It is great to see what they're doing though.
What a great way to save the memories without all the clutter! I'm going to have to copy this great idea.
smart idea! You don't know how often I hear "Moooom, where is my frog picture?" and I say "Ummmm, let me see if I can find it" and then I secretly dig it out of the trash.
Thanks for your message today. Promise we'll talk soon.
I need to start doing this! Spencer is totally into art, but you just can't keep everything...great idea!
Catching up on your posts. They're all great. Love the tights and the sticks. That's funny. So is your little cup!...okay and your big cup ($80 bra, that is)! Loved, loved, loved your post about single-parenting and family traditions. Great job!...You're obviously a super-mom!!
Emma comes home with at least 10 works of "art" every week. I just keep the special ones - which means I have three big boxes of masterpieces already!
and it does get quite overwhelming.
Good idea! A picture. I have one big box of the chosen keepers....I had to eliminate. She sure does great work!
I keep too much stuff like that. I know someone that takes a pic of the best and just keeps those. Blogging them takes up even less space!
its good to hear that I'm not the only one who feels this way. I mean Ame wants to save EVERYTHING she makes, but I hate clutter too, so I may also use your idea and post some things every once in a while too. I let her save a manilla envelop full of stuff from preschool last year, so she saved her most special things, and got rid of the rest!
Mia hasn't even started school yet and I have too many projects. I started to scan them into my computer. Now Mia gives me something and asks me to put it in the computer. I feel better that I don't physically keep them because I can look at them anytime.
