2 Years Ago Today...
...I saw a picture of Eliza for the first time. It feels a bit weird to look at this picture and realize there was a time when we weren't together. There is this little (yet very significant) slice of her history that I'm not a part of. Without a doubt, she is mine and I am hers. It's all quite the miracle...sometimes I still have to pinch myself. September 26, 2006 was, by far, one of the most memorable, exciting days of my life! Like I've said before, this was the day I was able to put a face to my dreams!!!

It really is a miracle. It seems that each baby is matched with the family that is perfect for them. Eliza has blossomed into a beautiful child and you are both so lucky to have each other!
What a great day! Boy, she still looks the same as that picture-I would have picked her out for sure. You can't see either of my kids in their referral pics.
I just swallowed hard. I am just around the corner from that 'knowing the face' and I am out of my mind.

I can hardly believe it's been 2 yrs! I remember watching your referral and the trip to China to bring her home. Thanks for allowing me the chance to watch her grow and to learn from your experiences.
