Dance Class...

...or hall class as I like to call it. I signed Eliza up for a dance class through our community ed. program. It is perfect because it's less than a mile from our house and very inexpensive (that is if your child will actually dance)! Eliza has been asking to "take a dance class", but I don't think she was prepared for the loud music and unfamiliar faces. When her friend Charlee arrived I thought we might be home free. She joined the group for about 5 minutes and then was DONE! Anyhow, I am now proudly paid up for a month of hanging out in the hall of the nearby middle school. Sheesh, I can do that for free all day at work!

**Oh, and, stay tuned...I'll be back Thursday with some rather interesting news...**

Too bad. Perhaps she'll get more into it now that she knows what to expect.

But she looks sooooo cute! Hope she joins in at some point, that's got to be hilarious and adorable. Looking forward to Thursday's post...

I've had the same experience with my girls when they were 3. We just ended a semester of Chinese Dance and are not going back. I hope to reintroduce it next year. Thankfully they both love gymnastics and stay in for the whole class. Hope I didn't just bite myself in the foot. We had to change locations and Saturday will be the first time at the new one.

At least she looks adorable in her dance outfit!!! Maybe she's just taking her time warming up to the idea and she will be in there plie'ing before you know it.

We had the same issues with Eva. She loved the first dance class but for the rest of the classes the parents must wait in the hall and Eva was not going for that. She had so much fun in the first class and was pretty good at it so I hope to get her in another class in the summer. She will be 4 and hopefully better able to handle it.

Not to brag, but I am pretty snoopy, & I think I know what your news might be... I am really looking forward to it---as I know you are! Eliza looks so cute in that little leotard, who cares if she really dances... as long as you get some pics! Good luck this week!

This will be the first of MANY things to come..just keep smiling. They had to prey my son off of me for swim lessons and basically THROW him in the pool and now he swims for high school (and swims really well:)

I had the same experience with Emma...but I made her tough it out since we paid for it. She just wasn't meant to be a ballerina!

lol! Hopefully she warms up to the dance class. i still remember the term my niece took ballet. 6 of us paid $10 each for recital tickets - but she stayed in the hall behind the stage, too frightened to go on stage.

Oooo....is it Thursday yet? Looking forward to hearing your news!
