Happy Mother's Day! I feel like the luckiest girl alive that I get to be Eliza's mom. She is my sunshine. I could have never imagined feeling this connected to any person in the whole world. I'm so thankful I get to do this every day, even the days that are not so fun. I'm also thankful for the joy and laughter I get to experience as a mom. On that note, I'll leave you with our conversation this morning:
Me: OK, Eliza, run into the bathroom and go potty.
Eliza: I can't. My buns are sick.
I just laughed and laughed. Nice excuse!
